At DoorSkin, we want you to feel confident in your purchase. If your DoorSkin repair insert does not work for your door or arrives damaged, please contact us and we will do our best to make it right.

Returns

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, the product must be unused, undamaged, and in the same condition that you received it. Items that have been installed, glued, modified, cut, damaged during installation, or otherwise used are not eligible for return.

Because DoorSkin is a repair product, please review the product photos, sizing information, and installation instructions before purchasing to make sure it is the right fit for your door.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order when it arrives. If your item is defective, damaged, or you received the wrong item, contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

We may ask for photos of the item, packaging, and/or the door issue to better understand the problem.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow several business days for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.

Exchanges or Replacements

If your item arrived damaged or defective, we may offer a replacement instead of a refund.

Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Products that have been installed, glued, altered, or damaged

  • Products damaged due to improper installation

  • Products returned more than 30 days after delivery

  • Orders without proof of purchase
